The Heart Behind Whole Person Well Care
Caylin Cheney, ARNP and Owner of Whole Person Well Care in Washington state.
I started Whole Person Well Care because I wanted to offer the kind of care I spent years hoping to find. Care that feels personal. Care that creates safety. Care that doesn’t separate your body from your story.
This practice is rooted in individual autonomy and built around a simple belief: you deserve to be seen, heard, and supported in your health journey!
Services I Offer
Primary and preventative care for general wellness and long-term health for people in Washington state.
-

Urgent care visits
for non-emergency issues that can’t wait
-

Chronic condition management
including diabetes, high blood pressure, and more
-

Mental health support
like care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder
-

Gender-affirming hormone therapy
for trans and non-binary individuals
-

STD & STI testing and treatment
in a judgment-free environment
-

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis)
to prevent HIV and support sexual health
This practice was created to feel different.
I built Whole Person Well Care because I believe the way care is usually delivered leaves too many people feeling unheard, unseen, or overwhelmed.
At Whole Person Well Care, your lived experience, voice, and autonomy are not just respected. They are at the center of everything I do!
This is not quick, one-size-fits-all medicine. I take the time to understand the full picture so we can get to the root of what’s going on, not just mask symptoms!

What You Can Expect
Whether you're seeking general primary care, support through transition, mental health care, or someone to walk beside you in your wellness journey, I’m here. And I’m so glad you are too.
-
My visits are spacious enough for you to be heard, understood, and fully cared for. You won’t feel rushed or overlooked. We’ll take our time so your care actually fits your life.
-
If you're a member, you’ll have direct messaging access and flexible scheduling options. No phone trees, long waits, or gatekeeping. Just real connection when you need it.
-
You know your body and your life better than anyone else. My role is to support you, not to control your care. Every decision we make is one we make together.
-
I create a space where your voice matters and your identity is honored. You’ll never have to educate me about who you are or justify what you need.
-
We’ll work together to support your physical, mental, and emotional health. Whether you’re navigating stress, chronic symptoms, or trying to build sustainable habits, I’m here to walk alongside you.
-
If you’ve ever felt dismissed, judged, or harmed in a medical setting, I want you to know this will feel different. I offer care that centers safety and healing, especially for LGBTQ+ folks, women, and anyone who has carried the weight of medical trauma.
Not accepting insurance gives me the freedom to offer care that is truly centered on you. There are no rushed appointments, no confusing billing codes, and no outside system telling us how much time we can spend together or what is "allowed." Instead, we get to focus on what actually matters: your health, your goals, and your long-term well-being.
Why Doesn’t Your Practice Take Insurance?
Whole Person Well Care is not a replacement for health insurance. I encourage you to keep an insurance plan to help cover expenses outside of my visit fee, including emergency services, hospital care, and specialist procedures.
Please note, I am a solo provider practice. I do not receive any federal or state funding and all information is kept private according to HIPPA rules and through a secure electronic medical record. You will always have access to your own medical records. Your privacy and safety are of the most importance to me!
